Zac Efron

Zac Efron Hospitalized in Spain after a swimming incident in Ibiza

Zac Efron was rushed to the hospital after a minor swimming incident at a villa in Ibiza. He is recovering after a short stay in a Spanish hospital on a Friday night. The 36-year-old “Family Affair” star’s representative commented while interviewed by TMZ that Efron was taken to the hospital as just a precaution but is released as of Saturday morning and doing quite well.

Two staff members at the villa found the High School Musical album in the pool and helped him out of the pool, as per the sources. However, it is still not clear what exactly happened that led Zac Efron to need assistance.

Efron’s representative did not immediately comment or respond to the Daily News’ request for comment.

It’s not the first time for Zac Efron

Also, this is not the “Iron Claw” star’s first medical problem in recent years. Back in 2019, Zac Efron was airlifted to a hospital in Brisbane, Australia, after contradicting typhoid while he was filming his adventure reality series “Killing Zac Efron” in Papua New Guinea. This series documented his 21 days living “off the grid.”

When the series was announced, Efron said, “I tend to thrive under extreme circumstances and seek out opportunities that challenge me on every level.”
